polliwog can be integrated with the GeoIP products as provided by  MaxMind. By default polliwog includes the country database and will output country information about your visitors.

Additionally polliwog can output city/town information if the relevant GeoIP database is provided (this is not included with the polliwog download because of the size of the file).

To integrate the city/town database with polliwog simply set property:
to the location of the database file (ensure that it is not compressed). polliwog will then determine the type of database that has been configured and do the appropriate lookup of the city/town/country.
